About Double "Q"
Paige Quakenbush
Frawley and Susan Quakenbush Goldstein are identical twin sisters who live with
Type 1 (juvenile) diabetes. Through their parents, Paige and Susan were
able to receive the proper care and education to manage their disease
effectively. Many children are not fortunate enough to have these
resources. In 2002, The Double "Q" Foundation was founded in
their honor to make a difference in the lives of many children living with
diabetes.
The Double "Q" Foundation is a non-for-profit organization established to provide financial assistance for underprivileged children enabling them to attend summer diabetic camps in Indiana. This helps to educate children about their disease in a fun and healthy environment, giving them the tools to achieve what every child deserves . . . a happy and healthy life.
